What To Expect
As with any injection, facial injections can involve minor discomfort. However, this minimally invasive procedure is accomplished without the need for an anesthetic. In addition, the XC collection of JUVEDERM fillers are formulated with lidocaine to help minimize any discomfort. If you are concerned about discomfort, we can apply a topical numbing cream before administering your treatment.
Results are immediate. As soon as your procedure is finished, you will see how the injection of Juvederm gel has smoothed your skin. You may notice some swelling, redness, or irritation at the injection sites but that is usually easily concealed with light makeup and dissipates completely within a few days.
